City Auto Repair opened its doors to Gainesville in 1981 to provide a one-stop shop for all automotive repairs. Growing up in the shop with her father, who started the business, Rachael became passionate about cars, but more so, about being able to help people. Today, Rachael carries on her father’s legacy with her team at City Auto Repair by providing an experience that is authentic and sincere, where each client is treated like part of the family.

Giving back to our community is an important component of who we are. Owner Rachael Wacha’s love for the community is exemplified through her participation in the Alachua County community serving on the automotive board of the Santa Fe College and working as a volunteer at Peaceful Paths.
Additionally, Rachael loves being able to share her knowledge of auto repairs with her community in order to empower and educate them. Rachael hosts Car Care Clinics to help educate and guide individuals on how to take, maintain, and look after their car. Education leads to healthier cars, safer roads, and more intelligent drivers.
